Hammering Blooms
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Create something beautiful and release some built up tension. In this class flowers and plants are hammered onto a tea towel to release their natural dyes. This printed design will be enhanced by adding watercolor, simple embroidery techniques and sewn on beads.

Foragers Watercolor Palette
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Participants will learn how pigments can be collected from soil and rocks to create a watercolor pan. In the end six pans will be made and added to a mini travel size watercolor palette.

ABSTRACT PAINTING, MAKE YOUR MARK
Discover the freedom of abstract painting all the while learning how to maintain composition. This class will teach students exercises for creating composition studies that we will transfer to a finished and balanced abstract painting. (Limit 6) Art Supply Fee: $40
'SUN PRINTING' TOTE BAG
Learn how to create fun sun prints using plants and objects found in nature. Using a canvas tote, students will arrange their designs however they like, expose to the sun, and wash in a bath to reveal the final print. Cyanotype print making is a form of photographic printing that uses sunlight to create vivid cyan-blue prints with blistering white designs. All materials provided. (Limit 10) Art Supply Fee: $40

Learn how to create fun sun prints using plants and objects found in nature. Students will arrange their designs however they'd like, expose to the sun and wash in a bath to reveal the final print. Once dry, prints will be modge-podged to a wood base and ready to hang! (Limit 8) Art Supply Fee: $20.00

Winter Gallery - artwork displayed at hessel school house
The gallery walls in the Assembly Room of the School House are curated by the Les Cheneaux Arts Council and often feature local painters and photographers. Displays are changed regularly. You will see my work displayed and all of my works are available for purchase.
